Controllers
HVAC controllers are used to regulate the operation of heating or air conditioning systems in a building, plant or room.
HVAC control systems use sensing devices like thermostats, humidistats and process controllers to compare the actual state of an environment with a predetermined setpoint. Controllers then turn on or turn off heaters, air conditioners and fans to adjust the ambient temperature and humidity to match the target state.
HVAC controllers use a combination of analog and digital inputs and outputs to perform a variety of actions, including taking measurements, starting and stopping equipment, and opening or closing valves, dampers and more.

The FS Series are low limit controllers, also known as "Freeze Stats". These devices were designed for use on HVAC equipment that requires low-temperature cutout protection to prevent cooling coils from freezing. They should be mounted between the heating and cooling coils on the supply side of the fan unit. They respond to the lowest temperature sensed along any 1 foot section of the sensing element. The FS Series has manual and automatic reset versions, as well as, models that feature one or two sets of SPDT contacts. Numerous capillary lengths are also available.

- Open High or Close High Models Are Available

- Applications Include Freezer Cabinets, Display Cases, Beverage Coolers, Milk Cooling Tanks and Air Conditioners
- Can Act As A Frost Alarm Operator in Storehouses or Orchards Where Frost Would Damage Crops or Equipment
- Dual Temperature Scale Plate Provided for both Fahrenheit and Celsius Readings

- Precision Repeat Accuracy Remains Unaffected by Ambient Temperature at the Control Diaphragm Cup and 4 ft (1.2 M) Capillary (20 ft [6.1 M] Sensing Bulb Must Be in the Controlled Area)
- Trip-Free Manual Reset Allows the Lever to Reset. You Must Press and Release the Lever Before Operation Resumes.
- Precision Snap-Acting Contacts in a Dust Protected Enclosure Enables the A11 Control to Operate to the Fullest Potential
- Direct Reading Scale Provides Easy-to-Adjust Setpoint. Adjustments Can Be Made from the Top or Bottom of the Control.
The A11 Controls are compact and sturdy and feature an adjustable range with a fixed differential. The range adjustment screw is accessible at the bottom of the control or at the top, when the cover is removed. A factory-set low temperature stop is available when specified.
